Behind a modernist façade, in the heart of the popular Cabañal district we find Casa Montaña, a vintage establishment with great personality. A meeting place for politicians, intellectuals and artists, it has international renown through the best publications in gastronomy, wine and travel.

Apparently nothing has changed since its foundation in 1836. It is still a meeting point which opens up a universe of sensations. It is a place for enjoyment, for conversation, a place to "relive" the pleasure of the senses and to reencounter flavours around good food and even better wines.

In its origins it provided wine in bulk to the merchant ships of the port of Valencia, and after all these years, Emiliano García has developed the tavern adapting it to new times. We are stimulated by an ever more demanding clientele, well acquainted with the world of wine, who appreciate quality and want to enjoy it. At Casa Montaña we are fortunate enough to serve a heterogeneous "parish"; we are proud of their high level of exigency.

Our friends and clients have made Casa Montaña one of the most complete and selective wine cellars in the country. They motivate us to continue innovating and improving our service. Their love of wine and of its tastes have led us to increase the quality of our wine list, and to include more diverse references of all the Denominations of Origin of Spain and all the countries where good wines are produced. Our wine list includes over 1000 references.
